The client is among the top 100 insurance organizations in the US. They offer a wide range of commercial and personal coverage products. The company is a nationally recognized insurer for various specialized markets, including graphic communications industry coverage and error and omissions coverage for insurance agents and brokers.

Objective

  • Consolidate integration layer to a single Enterprise Service Bus platform. This will enable:

    • Easy maintainability
  • Client needed agility to deliver digital capabilities by providing a

    • Well defined Pluggable system

The Challenge

  • Client needed digital transformation of IT landscape and opportunities for business provided by:
    • Mobility
    • Cloud services

  • Carrier’s current IT landscape was built on spaghetti architecture. They were utilizing :
    • ESG
    • OSB
    • Tibco

They realized the need of a single Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) as a backbone of Digital infrastructure.

The Solution

  • Coforge leveraged its partnership with MuleSoft and understanding of current APIs to come up with an agile development plan
  • MuleSoft best practices were followed for migration 
  • Scope of work included conversion of 50 Tibco services developed over the years to Mule ESB in 5 months
  • Coforge also developed a Jenkins based automated deployment process to speed up development
