We are extremely pleased to announce the successful completion of our first UK implementation of Mule 4, the latest and most advanced runtime engine of MuleSoft’s Anypoint Platform. Over the last 12 months, our MuleSoft consultants have been testing Mule 4, providing feedback to MuleSoft during the beta release and executing test cases within the testing environment of our Centre of Excellence.
Having fully validated the benefits of the new engine, we have migrated all our connectors to Mule 4, started taking the relevant certifications, and we are now one of the first MuleSoft partners in EMEA to fully implement a Mule 4 project.
For this project, we recommended an API-based integration solution powered by Mule 4, to help a well-known fashion retailer effectively address problems and restrictions caused by their legacy infrastructure, and achieve the much-needed agility, scalability, process optimisation and accelerated time to market.
Mule 4 enhances application development velocity with up to 50% fewer steps and concepts to learn, including: a simplified language for connectivity, clear access to data, automatic tuning, and smoother upgrade processes.
Some of the capabilities we were able to develop for this project thanks to the technology enablers that came with Anypoint Platform and Mule 4, were:
- Reliable processing with no data loss
- Secure scalability with secure logging and monitoring
- Archiving of input and output external data for auditing
- Automated notifications and reprocessing strategies
- Horizontal and vertical scalability options thanks to the 3-layered architecture
- Ability to handle high volumes of transactions through pagination and streaming
