Coforge partnered with a leading U.S.-based wealth management firm to establish and scale a Global Capability Center (GCC) in India, transitioning from a traditional virtual model to a BOT (Build-Operate-Transfer) framework. The objective was to enhance global service delivery maturity, drive enterprise-wide efficiencies, reduce costs, and create a scalable, IP-secure operating model.

Leveraging its D-BOTS framework, Coforge integrated technology, operations, and innovation to transform the GCC into a high-performing, future-ready capability. The engagement enabled the client to build a resilient, scalable platform while positioning the GCC as a strategic, revenue-generating hub.

The Challenge

The client aimed to mature its global business services delivery model while achieving enterprise-wide efficiencies and cost optimization. A key priority was to establish a scalable GCC in India that could support both technology and operations at scale while ensuring strong IP protection.

The organization required a structured approach to transition from a virtual delivery model to a BOT-based GCC, balancing speed, cost efficiency, and long-term sustainability. Additionally, the client sought to transform the GCC into a strategic, revenue-generating entity rather than a cost center.
