A global IT leader in air cargo embarked on a large-scale modernization program to transform its legacy cargo application suite into a scalable, microservices-based platform. Coforge led the transformation across architecture redesign, UI/UX enhancement, product upgrades, reporting modernization, and ongoing product support. The program covered critical cargo, airline, customer, and revenue-accounting modules, enabling faster releases, stronger user experience, and improved platform agility. It also introduced modern testing, reporting, and engineering practices to support long-term product evolution and broader market adoption.

As part of a broader digital transformation initiative, the client needed to modernize its legacy cargo application suite into a more scalable and agile platform. The existing environment constrained product agility, slowed enhancement cycles, and limited the ability to deliver a modern user experience across critical cargo and airline workflows.
The modernization had to span a complex landscape covering airline sales and booking, cargo handling, warehouse operations, customer portals, revenue accounting, and reporting. At the same time, the client needed to reduce maintenance effort, improve release speed, and expand market reach without disrupting ongoing product delivery.
