Coforge partnered with a leading Southeast Asian cement manufacturer to drive a large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation across multiple geographies and business units. Operating across seven countries with diverse business operations, the organization aimed to modernize its IT landscape, reduce operational costs, and build a process-centric, KPI-driven enterprise.

The Challenge

The organization operated a fragmented IT landscape across multiple countries, with SAP ECC 6.0 nearing end of support. This created risks related to system sustainability, scalability, and compliance.

Key challenges included:

  • Managing complex, multi-country operations with inconsistent processes and systems

  • High dependency on legacy applications and integrations across SAP and non-SAP systems

  • Limited user experience due to a fragmented interface landscape

  • Need to transition to a process-centric operating model while ensuring business continuity

End-to-End S/4HANA Transformation

Developed a comprehensive S/4HANA roadmap and executed migration from ECC 6.0 to SAP S/4HANA 2023 across core business functions, including FICO, SD, MM, PP, PM, QM, and PS.
