Business Challenges

The objective was to efficiently conduct regression testing for our client’s Global Payments System across diverse country setups, ensuring compliance with industry trends, regulatory requirements, and standards.

Coforge Solution

Coforge's Quality Engineering division is presently immersed in conducting regression testing endeavors for the client's Global Payments System (GPS) utilizing a "testing-as-a-service" paradigm. In this capacity, Coforge takes on full accountability for furnishing comprehensive regression testing services and enhancing the end-to-end regression suite for GPS releases across Asia-Pacific, Europe, and China.

Our adept team, comprising 15 members specializing in Automation and Manual Testing, undertakes the execution of over 8000 regression test cases. These efforts encompass extensive coverage of GPP Classic products, encompassing high-value and low-value Payments, SEPA, Start of day/End of day reports, among other elements. Notably, Coforge has effectively overseen two release testing cycles, encompassing modifications related to Oracle database upgrades and ISO-related developments.

The Coforge testing team has exhibited exceptional performance in executing test cases during the initiation phase, demonstrating no instances of delays or the emergence of critical defects following each release.

Result

This engagement under the testing-as-a-service framework has yielded a reduction in Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
